Whether you love art, whiskey, or both, you'll want to head to Lillstreet Art Center on Friday, February 1, for the opening of Neat: The Art of the Whiskey Vessel. Running from 6 to 9 p.m., the opening features work from 14 artists: Ben Bates, Charity Davis-Woodard, Josh DeWeese, Kenyon Hansen, Jason Hess, Matthew Hyleck, Jayson Lawfer, Matt Long, Dan Murphy, Lorna Meaden, Jeremy Randall, Brad Schwieger, Josh Stover, Jack Troy, and Erik Zohn. The artists each work in ceramics and make liquor flasks, cups, bottles, and jugs.

The show, which is curated by Doug Jeppesen, also kicks off with free tastings from Koval Distillery. After the show, head to The Fountainhead down the street for a discounted whiskey flight.

Neat: The Art of the Whiskey Vessel runs until March 1 at 4401 N. Ravenswood Ave. Chicago, IL 60640.
