Restaurant News: Covo Gyro Starts Delivering, SushiSamba Rio Reopens

• Don't want to leave the house today? Order in from Wicker Park’s Covo Gyro Market, which has started delivery just in time for the dreariest days of winter. The restaurant will deliver gyros, sides and other items within this radius, and there's a $15 minimum order.

• After closing due to repair a structural problem a week ago, SushiSamba Rio reopened last night.

• Next month, chef Rodelio Aglibot will open Earth + Ocean Restaurant in Mount Prospect. He's spent the last few years consulting on projects like The Florentine and Argent, and now Aglibot will offer a wide-ranging menu that includes Latin-style ceviches, smoke pea hummus with crispy cauliflower, Moroccan roasted chicken, and sushi.

• If your home cocktail game needs some work, head to Epic on February 21 at 6 p.m. The restaurant offers an interactive cocktail class with Michael Cristiani, and you'll learn to make a sazerac, a spin on an old-fashioned, and other drinks. You'll get a cocktail and passed appetizers. The class is $25, and you can reserve your spot by calling 312-222-4940.
