Today we see a brief reversal of the cold weather we've had around Chicago for nearly a week. We're almost at Skilling Central's forecast high of 48 at O'Hare, where the official reading is 46 degrees. The good news with that is there's no freezing rain like we had Sunday. the bad news it it's going to be gray and sloppy around here all day. The weather will be exceptionally severe overnight with storms and lightning, so you insomniacs and light sleepers be prepared.
