Do This: Gapers Block's 2nd Annual BBQ Bowl

Last year our friends at Gapers Block brought together a hell of a lineup of restaurants for its inaugural BBQ Bowl at Club Lucky. The turnout was such that Andrew Huff and Company looked for a larger venue to host the second annual competition Feb. 9.

They found it in Lincoln Hall and the initial lineup of competing restaurants includes Barn & Company, Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro, PorkChop, Robinson's, and Rub BBQ Company. Seeing Barn & Company's Gary Wiviott and Rub BBQ's Jared Leonard on that list lready has me stoked to judge the competition again. Last year Honky Tonk BBQ won the judge's choice while Mrs. Murphy & Sons took home the people's choice award.

$20 will get you get one tasting from each BBQ contestant. Gapers Block is working on live entertainment and drink specials. This should not be missed. Get your tickets in advance at Eventbrite or Lincoln Hall's website.
