Next Tuesday Hook sits down with Metro’s Joe Shanahan at the MCA Store to discuss the book and the band’s history. Shanahan booked New Order’s first Chicago show at the Metro 30 years ago, and given his own history in the business, the pairing makes for what is sure to be an interesting, revealing conversation.
Tickets are $12 (members $10, students $6), and the price of your ticket can be applied to the purchase price of Unknown Pleasures, which Hook will be signing after the talk.
Tuesday February 5, at the Museum of Contemporary Art. 200 E. Chicago Ave., 6 p.m.
