See Food: Green City Winter Market

By Melissa Wiley in Food on Feb 1, 2013 8:20PM

These days, Green City Market isn’t exactly verdant. But being green isn’t everything, not to mention easy for certain felt frogs. Kermit’s lamentations aside, the weekly market is still a place of plenty—potatoes, turnips, squash, popcorn, preserves, and even fresh donuts abound. So brace yourself for a feeding frenzy come the morrow. The market takes place every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum.

The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum is located at 2430 N Cannon Drive.
