Watch Patrick Kane's Backhand Pass To Marian Hossa In Slo-Mo

The Blackhawks have captured the city's attention with their early 6-0-1 record. Two of the reasons for that fast start have been the play of Patrick Kane and Marian Hossa. The two lead the team in scoring: Hossa has five goals and appears to have recovered fully from Raffi Torres's hit in last year's playoffs, while Kane has eight assists and has had tons of open space to wow fans, teammates and opponents with some of the best passes seen around the league in years.
Kane's assist on Hossa's game-winning goal in Dallas earlier this week was named by Blackhawks fans as the team's Play of the Week. It's easier to appreciate when you see it in slow motion. That no-look backhand from Kaner to Hossa is the hockey equivalent of breaking someone's ankles on a crossover dribble.
It's plays like this that give professional hockey a fighting chance for survival in North America.
