In Photos: Dada And 7Horse Play Park West

On Saturday, dada and 7Horse played to a packed house at Chicago's Park West as part of their 20th Anniversary Tour.
7Horse featured drummer Phil Leavitt and Joie Calio on guitar and their blues-infused, Zeppelin-like powerful music was a stripped down pleasure. Leavitt took the vocal lead on most tunes, and Calio shredded the air with his searing slide guitar and rhythm stylings.
dada featured Michael Gurley on lead guitar/vocals, Joie Calio on bass/vocals and Phil Leavitt on drums and sometimes vocals. Their music has strong, lyrical, harmonic vocals, guitar solos, and plundering bass lines all anchored by the powerful force of drums.
