Navy Pier set an attendance record in 2012, with nearly 9.2 million visitors passing through Chicago's top tourist attraction.

So why use Navy Pier as the setting for what's being called "The World's Largest Indoor Bar Crawl" Feb. 23? Why not? The forecast for the 23rd calls for gray skies and a high near freezing and while that can change over the next two weeks, the weather won't stop the Players Sport & Social Club from transforming seven bars and restaurants that call Navy Pier home into a bacchanalia.

A $20 ticket includes entry into crawl, one Bud Light drink ticket, a T-shirt, drink specials at all seven bars and restaurants, a complimentary ticket to ride the Navy Pier Ferris wheel, a lanyard and entertainment including live music, games, raffles and prizes. Need we remind anyone interested in participating to take the free shuttles to and from Navy Pier, and to drink responsibly. Bar crawls around here tend to get out of hand.

The World's Largest Indoor Bar Crawl takes place at Navy Pier from noon until 8 p.m. Feb. 23. Tickets may be purchased here.
