Follow The Color Codes To Find True Love

By Chuck Sudo in News on Feb 11, 2013 11:20PM

There are 103.6 women in Chicago for every 100 men. If you truly want to find someone—be they a soul mate (HA!) or someone you don’t mind taking to brunch at the Publican after a drunken night on the town—all you have to do is go to where the single men or women live.

Real estate website Trulia mapped out where the singles live in major metropolitan areas and even color coded it to make it easy to find that special person, just in time for Valentine’s Day. Trulia broke it down by ZIP code using a “boys are blue, girls are pink” color template: The darker the color, the more single men or women that live in a given ZIP code.

The results, frankly, don’t surprise us. Single women tend to stay close to the lakefront, downtown and the hot neighborhoods for real estate (this is a Trulia study, after all), while single men tend to drift out west and southeast.

If Trulia’s study is true, Hegewisch is a fucking sausage party. All the single ladies need to be making a beeline down the Skyway on Valentine’s Day, looking for love in the glow of the Whiting BP refinery.
