Bill Murray Golfs Like Only Bill Murray Can

Golf is so much fun to watch on television... if you enjoy napping. Well, Bill Murray made golf worth watching, and we regret not having seen the whole round. Here are just a few hilarious things he did while playing in the 2013 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.
For starters, Murray showed up with Chester A. Arthur's facial hair. We knew he did a good job playing President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, so maybe he's angling for another presidential biopic. His outfits were a little odd, too, including an umbrella hat, a red-and-white polka dot hat and some suspenders.
Murray spent a lot of time hamming it up for the crowd, chatting up the sidelines and passing out souvenirs. At one point he lay down in a sand trap and made a sand angel. At the 15th tee box, he "seized a giant champagne glass brimming with hundreds of golf tees and emptied it into the gallery." He sang, he danced, he golfed better than his pro partner D.A. Points and he raised $10,000 for the Hemophilia Foundation of Northern California.
At one point, someone handed former NFL player Harris Barton a football, and Murray tried to kick a field goal with Barton holding the ball. "The boot hooked radically to the left, but Murray celebrated as if he'd won the Super Bowl." In one of the videos below, Murray has fun with Barton's Super Bowl rings.
We rounded up some videos of Murray in action. Below, Bill Murray feeds his divot to a fan. Yes, he walked up to the crowd and shoved a handful of dirt and grass in the person's face.
Here, Bill Murray poses for pictures and cracks jokes with military servicemembers in the crowd.

In this news report by KSBW-TV, Murray asked the reporter to join him as his umbrella girl while he practiced some putts in the rain. Watch her report, starting at 2:00. Also, Murray tosses Barton's ball at the 0:49 mark.
