For a while Thursday night we thought Chicago wasn't going to get any snowfall at all, let alone avoid the worst of the storm that rocked the Great Plains. Instead, we received what can be called a dusting here. The official snowfall total at O'Hare Airport is 2.7 inches. (Woodstock received five inches of powder.) And we may not be done as there's a chance for on and off flurries this morning before things get sloppy and that turns to drizzle. As for the high temp, Skilling Central expects the mercury to climb to the low 30s as the winds pick up overnight.
