Today's Weather: A Fine Mess

Are you ready for a winter storm watch today? We're reaping the whirlwind, if Skilling Central's forecast is to be believed. We're also reaping wind gusts of up to 40 mph under a gale warning until 10 p.m. tonight and a winter weather advisory until 9 p.m. The clouds overhead will actually do something besides blot out the sun. We're supposed to receive rain and sleet later this morning, transitioning into snow in time for the evening rush. Snowfall projections are between three to seven inches by the time this is over, with the high winds leading to drifting. At least the high will be in the mid-30s.
