Longman and Eagle is at the top of every hipster foodie's wishlist. They have a Michelin star, a great chef and even a boutique hotel to collapse in after dinner. Whats the problem? You can't get in the damn door. Well, L&E has done something to fix that problem with the opening of Off Site Bar.

The new bar, which opens tomorrow, is adjacent to the back patio at L&E. It has 16 seats and holds a maximum of 30 people. The cocktail menu will be similar to the main bar. And it's got 16 more chances for you to get in the door.

Come Spring, things get really exciting. L&E is starting a weekly popup restaurant, the "Saturday Sausage Shop," that will focus on sausages and encased meats created by L&E sous chef Matthew ‘Sliwinski’. Every Saturday at lunchtime, the restaurant will feature limited-time-only dishes.

Looks like there will be lots of new ways to experience Longman and Eagle in 2013.

Longman and Eagle is located at 2657 N. Kedzie Avenue.
