Film
This week's "Wednesday Rewind" at the Logan Theatre is The Killing of Satan, "a far-out Filipino journey into the Satanic heart of darkness...in other words, this movie is nuts! Just wait for the scene where a guy gets crushed into play doh by a giant paper-mache boulder!" Let's get in line now. (2646 N. Milwaukee Avenue, March 6, 10:30 p.m., $3)
Music
Singer-songwriter Dar Williams brings her soothing sounds to the Old Town School of Folk Music for a March 7 concert starting at 8 p.m. Williams has a stage presence that can make concert halls seem like playing in a tavern. Playing the Old Town School will be like having her sing songs in your basement. (Maurer Concert Hall, 4544 N. Lincoln Ave., $30 general admission; $28 for Old Town School members.)
