I Want To Go To There: Liz Lemon Froyo Hits Shelves

We’ve long wanted to lick Tina Fey’s face. And we’re pretty sure she’s cool with that, because her beaming visage is now lining frozen food aisles in grocery stores across America—a country that she loves, incidentally, even if she thinks gay dudes should be allowed to adopt kids and we should all drive hybrid cars.
Since Night Cheese Delight didn’t fly with focus groups, Ben and Jerry’s decided to take a more Jenna Maroney route. This creamy concoction is a lemon Greek frozen yogurt with a blueberry lavender swirl, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Jumpstart, a non-profit supporting early education in low-income neighborhoods. Admittedly, the flavor sounds a little recherché for someone whose pregnancy test once registered a false positive after glutting herself on Mexican cheese puffs made with "evaporated bull semen." But it looks to be refreshing all the same and a sweet way to roll into the specter of spring. After all, it’s probably as close to licking Tina’s face as we’ll ever get, because life is cruel like that.
This marks Ben and Jerry's second frozen tribute to 30 Rock. Last year, they released a limited supply of Schweddy Balls, a vanilla ice cream with rum-covered malt balls, in honor of—who else?—Alec Baldwin and his iconic Saturday Night Live skit. This is also an appropriate foodie homage to Tina Fey, who has spoken before about her love of all foods Greek.
