It’s a choose-your-own-adventure-type week in Chicago theater, whether you decide to take a road-trip with boisterous drag queens or spend some time with a few emotionally unstable math geniuses.
David Auburn’s searing story of a U of C mathematician and his brilliant daughter is set in Hyde Park — making the Court Theatre a perfect venue for this Pulitzer-winning play. The show runs through Sunday, April 7.

Wallflowers, beware — the loud, flashy national tour of Priscilla might have you dancing in the aisles as the show’s three Australian drag queens sing and shimmy their way across the outback. The show runs Tuesday, March 19 through Saturday, March 30.

Shakespeare has been produced all over Chicago lately, and Red Theater is no exception. But the company’s new spin on Hamlet promises to be an energetic mash-up of theatrical elements that shows the melancholy prince in a new light. The show runs from Thursday, March 14 through Sunday, April 21.
