Even serious environmentalists need the occasional laugh, which is why we couldn't stop giggling when we saw this shirt at the Good Food Fest. Green City Market was selling these "Eat Locals" T-shirts, which may constitute our favorite extension of the zombie phenomenon.

If you think about it, this is a great idea. Most of the food that zombies eat isn't measured in food-miles but food-feet, and it's pretty sustainable, at least until the world runs out of humans. If you're worried, check out our list of the best places to survive the zombie apocalypse, but remember that you might be hurting the food system by hiding.

The shirts were designed by Lonely Dinosaur, and can be purchased from their website. Or, if you want one with the Green City Market logo on the back, check at the official market table next time you are at Green City - we were assured that they will be available in the future.
