- As of this weekend, you can take a break from shopping and taste hundreds of beers at the same time. Howells & Hood, the new beer bar/restaurant in Tribune Tower, is open for business. There are 360 individual beer taps at three different bars scattered throughout the 17,000-square-foot restaurant. Chef Scott Walton, formerly of Markethouse, is running the menu which consists of sharable, upscale bar food. What's with the name? John Howells and Raymond Hood were the original architects for Tribune Tower.

- Embeya is on fire lately. Chef Thai Dang just got nominated to be Food and Wine's Best New Chef, Dang's kimchi rocked the Good Food Fest Kimchi Challenge and now Embeya is opening for lunch. They will offer a 3-course prix fixe lunch for $21 and a full a la carte menu which includes a couple of new dishes like seafood stew with coconut, lime leaf, ginger - perfect for this extended winter we can't seem to stop having. Plus, they just added a kimchi bloody mary to the list. What a great way to start your afternoon at work!

- iNG has concocted another special menu, this time sure to please TV lovers everywhere. The Wonder Years menu will be inspired by "childhood" themes. No news on direct dish connections to favorite episodes yet, but knowing Chef Homaro Cantu, it won't be far off. The new menu ties in with the third episode of their online show, CookiNG under Pressure. Take a look below and watch them come up with their latest creations.
