Road Rage Leads To Shooting And Car Crash On Northwest Side

Police say road rage led to a shooting and later a collision involving two cars on the Northwest Side.

Police say someone in a white Escalade opened fire on the black Mercedes SUV, striking a 37-year-old man in the upper back in the Jefferson Park neighborhood. Both cars fled the scene, but then crashed into each other "about three miles northwest of the original incident."

Police found three injured people in the black Mercedes at the scene, but four people fled the Escalade.
