Morning Box Score: Bulls Stall Pacers
By Chuck Sudo in News on Mar 24, 2013 2:30PM
The Bulls avoided a season sweep by the Pacers Saturday night at the United Center thanks to Luol Deng's 20 points and Carlos Boozer's 18. The Bulls went deep into their bench (mainly because they're so beat up) and reserve Daequan Cook responded with nine points and five rebounds before he left the game with a bruised left thigh after taking a tumble into a cameraman. The win was only the Bulls' second in their past six games and moved them into sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings. Coincidentally, the team's slide has coincided with both the injuries piling up and the speculation over Derrick Rose's return. (Rose update: He's still sad.)
