Do This: Wicker Park-Bucktown Mixologist Mash-Up Thursday

If you heart Bucktown so much you could swallow it whole, now’s your chance. The second annual mixologist mash-up is almost here, where local bartenders get their pour on to distill neighborhood flavor into a single libation. For $40 in advance or $50 at the door, you can sample each mix-master’s neighborhood-inspired cocktail and then vote for your favorite. Participants include mixologists from Antique Taco, Club Lucky, Dolphin, Fatpour Tap Works, Lottie's Pub, Prasino, Red Door Kitchen & Bar, The Boundary, The Savoy, and Wicker Park Tavern.
Last year’s winner was Club Lucky's Six Corner Fizz, which combined vodka, prosecco, egg white, and crème de violet pearls, ingredients reflecting the area’s Polish and Hispanic cultures. The boozy science lab gets going Thursday, March 28 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Dolphin.
