Free Stuff: Cupcakes For Opening Day

While the most important "holiday" of today might be April Fools' Day, a close runner-up is opening day for Major League Baseball. We've seen some on Twitter pointing out the cruel joke that the Cubs start on April Fools' Day, but let's stay optimistic, at least for the first week or so. To keep your spirits up, why not grab some free cupcakes?

All day today, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., the Chicago location of Sprinkles Cupcakes is giving away a free cupcake to anyone who wears Cubs or Sox apparel into the store. It can be as simple as putting on your cap; you don't need to be decked out in a full uniform.

So get sugared up for opening day. A free cupcake in your belly might make all of those pointless April Fools jokes a little easier to take, and if the Cubs lose, at least you won.
