2013_4_3_michiganbeer.jpg On April 11, Binny’s in Lincoln Park hosts a Beer School showcasing Michigan brewers. For $20, you can join WGN Radio’s Bill Leff in learning about a slew of Michigan beers, including Founders, Saugatuck Brewing Company, and Arcadia Brewing Company. Food will be provided by the new 360-tap beer bar at the Tribune Building, Howells and Hood

Reservations are required for the event, and a suggested $20 donation goes to benefit WGN Radio's Neediest Kids Fund. Spots are limited. Call 312-664-4394 to RSVP.

Perhaps you’re asking the same question we did when we saw the invite, what makes this a Beer School? Representatives from Binny’s, no doubt trained by the incomparable Adam Vavrick, will be on hand to discuss the beers, and answer any questions you might have. Rest assured, they will make sure you learn a thing or two.

Lincoln Park Binny’s is located at 1720 N Marcey St. and more information about the event can be found here.
