Pencil This In: 'The Promised Land' At Thomas Masters Gallery; 'If You Meet Sartana, Pray For Your Death' At Patio Theater

The Patio Theater's partnership with the Chicago Cinema Society continues to pay dividends with tonight's screening of the spaghetti western If You Meet Sartana, Pray for Your Death at 10 p.m. The plot involves a stagecoach robbery and a series of murderous double crosses that eventually involve the titular hero in the title coming to the rescue. The Italian production features Klaus Kinski as the leader of the bandits who plot the stagecoach robbery. (6008 W. Irving Park Rd., $7)

Artist Eric Bellis (aka Rico Bell of Mekons) presents an exhibition of new paintings, The Promised Land, 6-9 p.m. tonight at Thomas Masters Gallery. The exhibition runs through April 30. (245 W. North Ave., #115)
