Roger Ebert's Funeral Set For Monday

Roger Ebert's funeral has been set for 10 a.m. on Monday at Holy Name Cathedral, located at 730 N. State St. A memorial tribute is being planned for Thursday, April 11, and details will be released later.

According to a media release sent yesterday evening, the service is open to the public, though seating will be limited and is first come, first served. Also, in lieu of flowers, people can send donations to The Ebert Foundation, c/o Northern Trust, 50 S. LaSalle St., Chicago, 60603. The Ebert Foundation is a nonprofit that supports arts and education programs.
