Have all your attempts to get a Founders Brewing Kentucky Breakfast Stout into your face this year been met with disappointment? Here’s a way to lock down what you feel is rightfully yours, a draft pour of this coveted seasonal stout. On Tuesday, April 30 at 7 p.m., Jerry’s Sandwiches in Wicker Park hosts a dinner with John Freyer of Founders Brewery. The 5-course dinner features 7 beers: a 2012 and 2013 Old Curmudgeon, Backwoods Bastard, Doom Imperial IPA, Bolt Cutter Barley Wine, Imperial Stout, and finally Kentucky Breakfast Stout. Tickets for the dinner are $80, and the price includes tax and gratuity.

If you’re lucky enough to snag a dinner seat, you don’t have worry about them running out before you get there. If $80 is too rich for your blood, you can pre-purchase a 3-beer flight for $25, which includes 16 oz. of Red’s Rye IPA, 8 oz. of 2013 Old Curmudgeon, and 8 oz. of KBS. Both the dinner ticket and the flight ticket must be purchased in advance, and KBS will not be available to walk-in customers.

Jerry’s Sandwiches Wicker Park is located at 1938 W Division St.
