Wicker Park BBQ mainstay Smoke Daddy ready for its close-up starting April 18. The expansion increases the area of the restaurant by over 2,000 square feet, more than doubles seating capacity and provides room for private parties (yay!) and watching sports (boo!) while you clog your arteries with low and slow-cooked meats. (America — Fuck Yeah!!)

Smoked Daddy’s kitchen was also upgraded to include new ovens and a wood-fired rotisserie viewable to diners. To celebrate the expansion, Smoke Daddy will host a complimentary tasting buffet featuring new and classic menu items and $4 draft beers, while Chicago blues group The Special 20s provide music. The grand reopening party runs from 8 p.m. until close on April 18.

In addition to that, Smoke Daddy launches a “New Southern” brunch starting April 20. The new brunch menu includes items like: Pulled Pork Benedict (house smoked pork with a bacon chipotle hollandaise over poached eggs and English muffins); House made Monkey Bread ; Fried Peanut Butter & Banana Sandwich - with bourbon and vanilla; Iron Skillet Blueberry Cornbread (rich gooey cornbread with fresh blueberry's muffin crust served hot with maple butter). The brunch hours are 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Smoke Daddy is at 1804 W. Division St.
