Emporium Arcade Bar & Local Bloggers Host Alternative To Dark Lord Day

Between Dark Lord Weekend at the Beer Temple, Dark Lord Day itself, and Beer 1UP at Emporium Arcade Bar, odds are good that a large portion of Chicago will be drunk next weekend.

Emporium is teaming up with local blogs SubBeerbia.net, BlahBlahBeer.com, and MetaCookbook.com
to host Beer 1UP, which runs from 12-3 p.m. on Saturday, April 27.

You can expect beers from local brewers Ale Syndicate, Flesk Brewing, Begyle Brewing, and Lake Effect Brewing, and you can meet the brains behind Arcade Brewing, Atlas Brewing Company, 4 Paws Brewing, Aleman, and Urban Legend Brewing Company. Plus, there's a live home brew demonstration by Brew Camp, a brewers vs. bloggers pinball tournament and beer and video game contests.
