Weekend Blotter: Three Killed, 13 Wounded In Weekend Violence

  • At least three people were killed and 13 people were wounded in citywide violence over the weekend.

  • Donald Holman, 37, died after he'd been shot three times in the leg around 8 p.m. Friday in the Austin neighborhood.

  • Lucas Zimmerman, 34, died after he was found shot in the arm and in the face in a convenience store parking lot in the Irving Park neighborhood around 12:10 a.m. Saturday.

  • A 22-year-old man was shot and killed in the Back of the Yards neighborhood around 5 a.m. Monday morning.

  • A 25-year-old man was seriously wounded around 3:20 a.m. Sunday morning when he was shot in the back while walking on Addicson Street across from Wrigley Field.

  • A 51-year-old man was shot in the abdomen during a domestic dispute in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood.

  • The body found in the Marquette Park lagoon last week has been identified as 14-year-old Julius Campbell, who had been missing since March. The boy's family says he was bullied by gang members.

  • Prosecutors say Lakeshia Baker and her boyfriend Michael Scott fatally beat her 1-year-old son Bryeon Hunter because of his whining and crying. Baker had originally claimed her son had been kidnapped.
