Chicago's annual Just For Laughs comedy festival has unveiled its first wave of performers slated to appear at The Chicago Theatre, The Vic, and Park West, just three of the 15 venues participating in the festival’s weeklong takeover of the city in June. The Chicago Theater will host the biggest names, with a generation-spanning lineup of headliners including Bob Newhart, Bill Maher, Seth Meyers, and David Cross appearing over the final four nights of the festival.

Other exciting highlights include appearances from The Daily Show and This American Life's John Hodgman, Irish comic Dylan Moran, and the exceptional Maria Bamford, all three of whom will headline nights at Park West. Former Chicagoan Hannibal Buress, Nick Swardson, Artie Lange, Al Madrigal, Anjelah Johnson, as well as the casts of TV's The Whitest Kids U' Know, Sullivan & Son, and Impractical Jokers fill out this first wave of comedians, with more announcements (perhaps some more ladies and/or people of color?) to come soon.

Just For Laughs Chicago runs from Tuesday, June 11 to Sunday, June 16. Tickets go on sale Saturday, April 27 at 10 a.m.
