Having just signed to Carpark Records, former home of Beach House, rambunctious garage rockers Speedy Ortiz will no doubt celebrate their good news—and preview material from their upcoming debut full-length, Major Arcana, at tonight's show at Subterranean. Don't miss them.

Before the band releases Arcana in July, the Western Massachusetts-based group will release a 7-inch single on April 30 on Inflated Records.

The single's A-side, a fuzzy, drone-y blast of concise alt-pop called "Ka-Prow!" premiered on Spin recently. Singer Sadie Dupuis' brand of sing-speak reminds listeners of a more tuneful, intuitive Liz Phair. Check out the video for "Ka-Prow!" below, and listen to the group's past material on Bandcamp.

Speedy Ortiz opens for Geronimo! at Subterranean, 2011 W North Ave, 8 p.m., $8, 21+
