Glazed And Infused Releases Summer Menu, Free Donuts

By Anthony Todd in Food on Apr 26, 2013 3:05PM

Making donuts is serious business. These days, people live and die by their morning dose of ever-more-decadent sugary goodness. Glazed and Infused knows this, which is why when they release a new menu, they don't mess around. Their new summer menu was released today, and to celebrate, they're giving away some freebies.

The new lineup includes strawberry shortcake (filled with vanilla cream and strawberry/lavender compote), key-lime pie, Apple oat cake and banana-cream cheese. G&I has also teamed up with Terry's Toffee to make a toffee donut with caramel glaze.

Last but certainly not least: The Bar Snack, sure to grace the cover of blogs and magazines everywhere. This donut is covered with everything but the kitchen sink - peanuts, pretzels, potato chips, mini-M&Ms and a carmel glaze. It's a whole meal plus dessert. Don't worry, the maple-bacon long john is still on the menu.

To celebrate the new menu, G&I will be giving out free mini-donuts at their Lincoln Park location (939 W. Armitage Avenue) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Stop in on your commute home and chow down!
