2013_5_2_Avondale.png Forget Logan Square. If you're looking to predict an up-and-coming food neighborhood a few years out, our money might just be on Avondale.

They've got some great restaurants, a brand new beer store and, best of all, Honey Butter Fried Chicken. If you want to taste through the entire neighborhood in one night, grab a ticket for the Avondale Restaurant Crawl on May 15.

For just $20, you can get sample plates at 12 different restaurants, including Honey Butter Fried Chicken, Urban Belly, Beer Temple, Pork Shoppe and Orbit Room. Trolley transportation is provided and, as an added bonus, speakers from Forgotten Chicago will be on hand to talk about the history of the neighborhood.

Tickets are available online .
