Pencil This In: Chicago Gay Men's Chorus Celebrates The Beatles; 'Reframing Ruin: A Prelude To Bloomingdale' Exhibit

The Friends of the Bloomingdale Trail and The Trust for Public Land present Reframing Ruin: A Prelude to the Bloomingdale, a exhibit featuring photography of the current rundown conditions found along the Bloomingdale Trail. The exhibit runs through Aug. 22 at the Center for Neighborhood Technology (1741 N. Western Avenue). The exhibit is open to the public 5-8 p.m. May 13, June 10, July 8 and Aug. 5, and 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. May 18 and June 29. To schedule a private viewing, email here.

Music

The Chicago Gay Men's Chorus celebrates the music of The Beatles with their new show, All You Need is Love at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie 8 p.m. May 11 as part of their 30th anniversary celebration. Some of the songs they'll be adding their twists to include "I Want to Hold Your Hand," "The Long and Winding Road," "Hey Jude," "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds," "With a Little Help from My Friends", "Let It Be" and, of course, "All You Need is Love."
