METZ is loud. METZ is brutal. METZ is colossal. METZ may be from Canada, but there is nothing polite about their sound. Imagine a garbage truck being crushed under a steamroller in an airplane hangar and you'll start to get an idea of what METZ sounds like.

Their self-titled debut came out late last year and the band is currently touring behind it and coming to Lincoln Hall this Sunday. Sure, if you go to the show you probably won't be able to hear anything at work the next day over the ringing in your ears but we think it'll be well worth it. Chicago is the land of Big Black and Jesus Lizard so METZ should feel right at home as they hit the city limits.
