Even if you didn't get one of their coveted garden plots, the Peterson Garden Project still has something for you. This weekend, the PGP is hosting a huge heirloom plant sale. Last year, they sold out of thousands of heirloom seedlings pretty quickly, so this year they've gotten even bigger. If you're looking to stock your garden, now's the time.

The sale runs from Friday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m at the PGP Learning Center. There are over 100 varieties of heirloom plant seedlings available, all grown from Seed Savers Exchange seeds. The full list of plants is available on their website. How can you not want to shop for varieties like Chalk’s Early Jewel, Nebraska Wedding and Blondkopfchen? There will also be baked goods available for purchase, so you can nosh while you shop. Cash and credit cards are accepted, but bring your own bags!

The Peterson Garden Project Learning Center is located at 4642 N. Francisco.
