Untitled Kicks Off Monthly Muddle On Tuesday

2012_6_22Untitled.jpeg Want to learn more about whiskey? Of course you do. Starting on Tuesday, Untitled will be bringing in guest bartenders every second Tuesday of the month from 8 p.m. to midnight to serve up special drinks. There will be drinks from one Chicago bartender, one visiting bartender, and Untitled bartender Jacqueline Mancias. Sponsored by Angel's Envy Whiskey, the event will include lessons about American whiskey.

The first event, held in the Whiskey Library, features drinks from Al Sotack from The Franklin Mortgage & Investment Company, Philadelphia; Freddie Sarkis from Sable in Chicago; and Mancias.

Can't make it out this week? Here's the recipe for Mancias' The Cure for Fray:

Ingredients:
1.5 oz. Angel’s Envy
¾ oz. Cassis
¾ oz. Lemon
¼ oz. Branca Menta
4 Mint Leaves
4 Dashes Bar Keep Apple bitters

Directions:
1. Add ingredients to cocktail shaker with ice and shake.
2. Strain into glass over crushed ice.
3. Garnish with mint.

UPDATE: Bartender Chris Marty will be taking Mancias' place in the event and all future Muddle events. He sent us his recipe for Port of Call, one of the five cocktails he'll be featuring on Tuesday.
