Bike Rides
If John Kass would like to see just how tiny the "little bike people" are, he should show up at Daley Plaza 6 p.m. May 15 for the annual Ride of Silence. This event, held annually the third Wednesday in May, is a 10-mile ride that honors those who have been killed or injured while riding on our public roadways and advocates for motorists (or as Kass would call them, "legitimate vehicles") to share the roads with cyclists. The ride heads out from Daley Plaza at 7 p.m.
If you have an event for inclusion in "Pencil This In," please contact Tankboy (for A&E-related listings), Anthony (for tastings, dinners and food and drink-related events) or tips[at]chicagoist[dot]com.
