- Lillie's Q, which closed after a nasty fire back in March, is officially coming back. Fans have been able to get some of their fix at the second Lillie's Q location in the Chicago French Market, but nothing replaces the real thing. The original Bucktown location will re-open in mid-June, pending approval and inspections. "The outpouring of support from other chefs and restaurant owners, loyal customers, and friends of Lillie’s Q has been absolutely incredible," said Chef Charlie McKenna.

- We've been eagerly awaiting the opening of Parson's Chicken and Fish, the new restaurant from the team behind Longman & Eagle, and it looks like they opened yesterday. Daily Candy ran an article on them yesterday afternoon, and the restaurant announced their opening on Facebook yesterday. If you're looking for tasty, high-end fried goodies, get there now. They are going to be packed in a few days.

- Chicago Oyster House, which announced its presence a few weeks back, is now open for business. The Redeye got more details about the place a few weeks back. It replaces Triad, but is from the same owner/operator (which doesn't make us super optimistic) but will have 8-10 different types of oysters and an expanded bar (which helps). The entire menu is 25 percent off for the next couple of days.

- West Town Tavern, where you should definitely dine if you haven't already, announced yesterday that they would be taking reservations online. Finally. Anyway, when you go, order the pub chips and then thank us.
