In Pictures: Beer Under Glass And Half Acre Five

Chicago Craft Beer Week is well underway and two of the early showcase events were Beer Under Glass, the annual launch party at the Garfield Park Conservatory, and Half Acre Beer Company's belated fifth anniversary celebration. (Half Acre turned five last August.)
The logistics for both events were greatly improved over last year's iterations, with manageable (yet still long) lines, ample spacing between beer stations and, in the case of Half Acre Five, plenty of food to ensure guests weren't becoming too blotto. The settings for both events were ideal, as well. The sun setting in the west as guests enjoyed the picture perfect weather at the conservatory made for beautiful photography opportunities, while Half Acre Five at the Ravenswood Events Center, with its showcase room of classic cars and motorcycles, and refurbished neon signs, was a marriage made in Heaven.
