Morning Box Score: Sale Has Angels' Number Again

For the second time in a week, Chris Sale dominated the Halos with a masterful pitching performance. After one-hitting them at Sox Park Sunday night, the Sox southpaw struck out 12 batters and allowed three hits in 7 2/3 innings. Sale, after some early season struggles, is starting to find his groove as the season moves into the summer months and beginning to look like the dominating pitcher who turned heads with a breakout 2012 season.
Sale's pitching was more than enough for the Sox' offense, who got homers from Adam Dun and Alex Rios and an RBI from Conor Gillaspie. Jesse Crain bridged the gap between Sale and Addison Reed, who picked up his 14th save.
It's a good thing Crain and Reed were available because we had concerns about Nate Jones arm strength after he milked a cow before the game.
That's right: Nate Jones milked a cow before the game. As Hawk Harrelson bloviates in the video below, that's another example of TWTW.
