Brooklyn's Great GoogaMooga Food & Music Fest Comes To Chicago In August

The Great GoogaMooga festival—which is wrapping up its second annual event in Brooklyn, NY today—will be headed to Chicago next.

While rumors in March had the fest happening at Montrose Beach, a GoogaMooga producer told us that the food and music festival will take over Lincoln Park at the end of August. Though it looks like permits have been applied for at both locations.

Our source also told us that Wilco and My Morning Jacket are set to headline. But as with its Brooklyn arm, the fest will also bring out smaller acts, as well as tons of local food, beer, wine and cocktails.

Organizers (mainly Superfly Presents, who are responsible for Bonnaroo and Outside Lands) are expected to announce this coming week, so stay tuned for more details.
