Today's Weather: Ride Like The Wind

Well isn't the wind whipping up some significant sturm und drang this morning? Boughs are bending but not breaking outside Chicagoist's Bridgeport headquarters and samara seeds litter the street. It's a bit drizzly right now and that will continue through midday. As for the rest of the forecast, we're already near Skilling Central's forecast high of 56, a far cry from the high 80s we enjoyed earlier in the week. (Accuweather, in a rare show of agreement on the mercury readings, is also predicting a 56-degree high.)
The skies are expected to clear inland overnight as the lows drop further to the low 40s.
