Eighteenth Street Development throws its fifth annual Mole de Mayo in Pilsen this weekend, which runs today and tomorrow from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. at Halsted & 16th Street.

The event focuses on mole, a Mexican sauce, and there will be a mole cook-off and food vendors. The celebration extends to music, dance performances, an open-air market and lucha libre wrestler performances. Plus, see visual artwork by Alma Dominguez, Ricardo Gonzalez, Saul Aguirre, Laura Gomez, and others.
