Chicago cyclists and residents interested in registering for Divvy, the city's bike-sharing program, may be able to do so at noon today on the program's website.

There are two levels of membership. A $75 "Pedal" annual membership will entitle holders to unlimited trips of up to 30 minutes. The first 4,000 to register will be known as "founding" members of Divvy and will receive a black fob key to release bikes at docking stations across the city. (all others who register for the annual membership will receive a blue fob key.)

Divvy is also offering a $125 "Gear" founding membership which gives members the annual membership and the black fob key, five 24-hour passes to share with friends and family, a black Divvy t-shirt, and a chance to participate in Divvy's official launch party during the city's Bike to Work Week Rally at Daley Plaza June 14.

We wrote yesterday about Divvy launching in Lincoln Park and downtown June 23. We've included a map of the docking stations that will launch next month and other proposed docking stations that will open at later dates. We requested comment from the city and Divvy as to when these other stations will open and will update this post if and when re receive replies.
