Today's Weather: Bookends

We began May with warm weather and rain and that's how we're going to end it, with forecast highs around 80 degrees, mugginess, clouds and strong thunderstorms expected this afternoon. The National Weather Service predicts another 2 to 3 inches of rain to fall before Saturday, so Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana area is under a flash flood watch until 7 p.m. June 1.
