Two Killed, 9 Wounded In Overnight Violence

- Two people were killed, including a 15-year-old boy, and nine people were wounded, including a 9-year-old boy, over the course of nine hours Wednesday afternoon and evening.

- Jessie D. Clark, 20, was shot and killed while standing on a porch on the Far South Side around 2:20 p.m. Wednesday.

- Miguel Villegas, 15, was shot and killed in what police say is gang-related killing around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Gage Park neighborhood. Another 15-year-old boy was also seriously wounded.

- A 9-year-old boy was shot in the chest and critically wounded while riding in a car in the
Park Manor neighborhood. Police say the boy was in the backseat of the car while his mother drove and her boyfriend rode in the passenger seat. Police say the boyfriend is a "known gang member" and may have been the target. He fled after the incident as the mother drove the child to the hospital. The child is expected to survive.
