Tomahawk Is In Town!

Tomahawk—featuring Mike Patton of Faith No More, Duane Denison of Jesus Lizard, John Stanier of Battles and Trevor Dunn of Mr. Bungle (amng other bands)—is playing The Vic tonight. We're big fans of each of the bands these dudes are connected to and when they come together as Tomahawk the results are incredibly impressive. It's hard hitting, powerful rock that's aggressive as hell but still manages to be catchy. If you're pasring the sound DNA-wise it's probably closest to Faith No More, though with a more straightforward hard rock approach instead of the mad scientist lab shenanigans that could occoer within the confines of FNM.

Anyway, we're super stoked to see them tonight (and you can too, amazingly there are still tickets) so let's turn up the volume on this morning and get things cranking!
