Sylvain Chomet's 2003 feature film debut The Triplets of Belleville tells the whimsical tale of a grandmother who enlists the help of music hall singers to rescue her grandson, a cyclist in the Tour de France who's kidnapped by mobsters and held hostage. The film had a lengthy run at the Music Box a decade ago and it still holds up as one of the finest animated films of the past quarter century. See it as part of the Millenium Park Summer Film Series 7 p.m. this evening.
